Membership is built around five recurring rituals, predictable emotional anchors you can return to every week, not a calendar full of one-off events. Each one is a different kind of company.

Real Company — weekly · Wednesdays 7–9pm
The talking ritual. Guided evenings centered on real conversation, reflection, laughter, and presence. The nights people leave saying, “I didn’t realize how much I needed this.” This is the heart of Present Company.
Quiet Company — Tuesdays & Thursdays · 10am–3pm
The silent ritual. Phone-light coworking, reading, journaling, parallel presence, for people tired of working alone. Drop in for an hour. Stay all day. No agenda. No small talk pressure.
Creative Company — 2nd Saturday of the month · 6–9pm
The making ritual. Maker nights, art sessions, journaling circles. Restorative creativity — not performance creativity. A sanctuary for the part of you that hasn’t made anything for fun in years.
Easy Company — 1st Friday 7–10pm · 3rd Thursday 3–5pm
The casual ritual. Tea time, game nights, seasonal hangs, phone-free laughter. Two flavors a month — a Friday evening and a Thursday afternoon — so however you like your week, there’s somewhere easy to go.
Whole Company — last Saturday of the month · 7–10pm
The monthly capstone. A deeper themed gathering for the whole community. Past and upcoming themes: Phones Down Dinner. Friendship Reset Night. Wintering Together. Softness in a Burnout Culture. The Art of Gathering.
A typical month at Present Company.
The rhythm to remember:
- Wednesday is always Real Company.
- Tuesday and Thursday days are always Quiet Company.
- Each weekend has one signature ritual — Easy Friday, Creative Saturday, Easy Thursday, Whole Saturday — rotating across the month.
You don’t need to memorize a schedule. You just need to know: if it’s Wednesday, I have somewhere to go.

Do I need to come every week? No. Present Company is built around rhythm, not pressure. Most members find a couple of rituals that fit their life and return to those. The space is here whenever you need it.
What if I’m shy / introverted / new to the area? That describes a lot of our members. Every ritual is gently facilitated so no one is left standing in a corner. An ambassador member will welcome you by name on your first few visits.
Can I bring a friend? Yes, every member gets two guest passes a month. Bring someone you want deeper connection with.
Can I cancel anytime? Yes. Membership is month-to-month. Your founding rate stays locked as long as you remain a member.
Is there a trial? Try the 3-Ritual Pass ($99 for three visits, valid 60 days).
What if it doesn’t feel like a fit? We’d rather you not be a member than be a quiet one. If your first 30 days don’t feel like a fit, we’ll refund your first month and part as friends.
